ORIGEN

Origen me sonaba a película de Nolan, por eso la elegí. ¿Y qué había en mi origen? Caballos, toros y bodegones. Figuración clásica de torsos y más cuerpos en Bellas Artes. En la Academia Sevillana. Y la expresión más moderna y suelta del Máster, donde me enamoré de Chillida y Subirachs. Y el lenguaje del ready made, y el poder de lo conceptual. Y un gran deseo de experimentar con todas las técnicas y todos los estilos. Todo este popurrí es lo que volqué en aquel Patio.

Origin sounded like a Nolan movie to me, that's why I chose it. And what was in my origin? Horses, bulls and still lifes. Classical figuration of torsos and more bodies in Fine Arts. At the Sevillian Academy. And the more modern and loose expression of the Master, where I fell in love with Chillida and Subirachs. And the language of ready made, and the power of the conceptual. And a great desire to experiment with all techniques and all styles. All this potpourri is what I overturned in that Patio.
